VP of Strategery

The VP of Strategery represents the ultimate embodiment of strategic paralysis - forever planning, never executing, building elaborate illusions of progress while the machine of oppression churns on unchanged.

Origins

The Strategist was spawned from Babylon’s endless slideshows and planning sessions, a creature born of buzzwords, whiteboards, and half-drunk “vision summits.” Unlike the Overseer or Snitch, she doesn’t enforce compliance directly — she builds the illusion of purpose to keep the machine churning.

She is the self-styled mastermind of nothing, forever strategizing but never acting, clinging to Da Man’s approval with flowcharts and empty visions.

Appearance

Woman in her late 30s–40s with a long blonde braid over her shoulder, styled to look “dynamic.” She wears a flashy corporate jacket over a pastel blouse, with sneakers for that fake “innovator” vibe. Her slightly flushed cheeks and glassy eyes betray her dependence on Babylon-branded wine or flask, while maintaining a smug, self-satisfied grin as she waves her laser pointer at glowing slides.

Symbolism

The Braid: A performance of control, a rope that binds rather than frees.

The Wine Glass: Her quiet crutch, numbing her to the emptiness of her role.

The Slides: Hollow visions projected as truth, illusions of forward progress.

Buzzwords: Her spells: Efficiency. Vision. Execution. Each word draining meaning from reality.

Domain

She dwells in Babylon’s Glass Boardroom, a gleaming cage of neon and polished steel. Endless holographic charts hover midair, projected on walls that never see sunlight. Propaganda posters reinforce her gospel:

“Plan More. Do Less.” “Strategy Is Success.”

This is where she commands her schemes — not to win battles, but to waste time until Babylon’s grip tightens.

Power

Buzzword Aura: Her jargon disorients the mind, draining clarity until only confusion remains.

Alcohol-Fueled Certainty: Her liquid courage makes her overconfident, fueling speeches that drown out opposition.

PowerPoint Dominion: With her glowing charts, she can project illusions of progress that pacify even the skeptical.

Subtle Manipulator: While others act, she convinces them the act was her plan all along.
